We’re excited to announce that this year, we celebrate 15 years of Orbits IT!

From our humble beginnings back in 2010 to becoming award-winning trusted IT partners for over 280 SMEs, charities and public sector organisations across South Wales, The Midlands and the South West, our journey and growth have been remarkable.

Today, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on our journey and thank you for being part of it.

Our first ten years as trusted IT providers were exciting – we quickly gained the trust of local businesses and proved our commitment to exceptional IT support and services.

When our 10th anniversary arrived in 2020, we found ourselves in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic and one of the most challenging times to run a business.

However, with the advent of increased home working we found ourselves exceptionally busy setting up the necessary IT infrastructure for many businesses. As time passed, we expanded our team and services as demand for our professional and friendly IT support grew.

In 2020, we were also finalists in the Midlands Business Awards for the Service Provider of the Year (up to £1M) as well as finalists in the Business Growth Awards in South Wales. This recognition was a proud moment for us and fuelled our desire for continued excellence and growth.

We continued to be recognised throughout the industry over the coming years for our consistent high-quality IT support service and client satisfaction, being listed among the 50 best managed service providers for 2023 and 2024.

We are committed to continued excellence and growth. Therefore, it came as no surprise when we outgrew our new premises and moved to a new location in December 2024. With an expanding client base and team, we needed more space to serve our clients better.

Shortly before our move, we also unveiled a new look for our brand in 2024, refreshing our website, social media and client communications to help us better serve our clients and reflect our evolution as a business. The feedback was fantastic!

Last but not least, we achieved the Cybersecurity Essentials Plus Certification to demonstrate our dedication to maintaining the highest security standards. This proves to you, our clients, that your data is protected by robust, up-to-date security measures you can trust.

Here at Orbits IT, we believe strongly in investing in the next generation of IT professionals.

This ensures we can stay innovative, and up-to-date and provide top-notch services to our clients as technology continues to advance at a rapid pace. That’s why we welcomed three new apprentices to the team last year and have plans to bring in more.

However, investing in the future doesn’t only mean technology to us but also to the community. We believe strongly in giving back. That’s why, in 2024, we proudly sponsored the Credit Unions of Wales Awards, supporting organisations that make a positive impact in our region.

As we celebrate our 15-year anniversary, we’d like to say a big thank you to our clients, partners and team members for being a part of this journey. Your trust and support help fuel our passion for excellence and growth, and the last five years have certainly been testament to this.
