Orbits IT celebrates 10 years with new recruits, bigger office and wider service area coverage.
2020 has managed to quell many celebrations but we’re not going to let it dampen our excitement to reach our 10th anniversary. Despite navigating through one of the most challenging trading environments ever known, we have many reasons to celebrate and have managed to make some great advances here in our tenth year:
1. NEW South West region coverage
We are really excited to announce we’ve increased our service area coverage by expanding into the South West region. We’ve now servicing an approximate 30-mile radius of Bristol.

2. Three new apprentices join our team
We are delighted to welcome not one but three new apprentices. Morgan King joins our Barry office as an Apprentice Desktop Support Technician and is undertaking a 12-month full-time placement.
Sorrel Wilkes and Mya Hackett join our Midlands division as Apprentice Desktop Support Technician and Digital Marketing Apprentice, respectively. Our new recruits follow our pledge to recruit at least one apprentice every year.
3. We’ve moved into a bigger Midlands office
With our team of IT service and support technicians growing year on year, we have relocated our Midlands office to Long Lane Trading Estate, Birmingham (below). Our lovely new office provides plenty of scope to accommodate our increasing numbers. It also benefits from high visibility from the main road to help us expand.
Our 10th year is certainly one we will remember. The Covid-19 pandemic has seen surging demand from new and old clients desperately trying to modernise their businesses to enable safe, professional and productive homeworking.
While demand somewhat returned to normality over the summer, we remained super busy preparing and implementing the next pillars to continue our year-on-year growth. Our new apprentices, new office and wider service area coverage are all part of our long-term plan.
As we celebrate our tenth year, we would like to thank all our amazing clients for their support and loyalty over the years. We know how challenging 2020 has been for many.
