This is now possible thanks to the new and improved Google Documents feature which was added to the vast amount of free services that Google offer earlier this year.

The most popular office file formats such as Microsoft Office, OpenOffice and HTML can be created, edited and converted at ease without any software makes this service very appealing.

When trying this out myself I found that Google Documents provides almost all of the options and menus that most people would commonly expect when creating documents with other packages.

After creating or uploading files they can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection just by logging into your Google account.

Once a file has been uploaded you can then allow your friends or colleagues permission to view or edit your documents via an email invitation.
