As some of you may already know, Microsoft uploaded a Developers preview for the upcoming Windows 8 late last Tuesday night.

Unlike previous years Microsoft has made it available for download to anyone who wishes to give it a go!

Installed it on a virtual machine myself today, simple steps provided a pleasant installation and set-up.

Not a big fan of the metro interface – but it’s had to judge an operating system with only half of the features working.
At the moment the Internet Explorer icon seems to do nothing while there is no ‘All Programs’ option in the Start menu.

I’m sure the final build will be a much nicer experience, especially if you can afford a fancy tablet to have it installed on!
