Hi, My name is Aaliyah but I do prefer to be called Lia. I have recently joined Orbits as an IT support apprentice. My career has ranged from a boxing coach to a social media manager to a tax advisor. Recently, I have left a job within the customer service industry as I did feel the job had no progression, opportunities nor sense of accomplishment.

I have joined Orbits as I feel I would enjoy a career in IT. IT has always been an interesting subject for me, which lead me to do non-accredited courses in basic IT usage, data analytics and cyber security. Through this, I have solidified my determination for a career within this industry. I hope to learn new skills and venture into new aspects of my career.

Outside of work, I am an avid baker as well as a motorbike enthusiast. I also repair consoles and enjoy gaming, specifically story mode, horror and adventure games. I love music, as does my tuxedo cat, who is named after his favourite artist, Slim shady.
