Hi, I’m Katrina Jenkins, and I’m currently doing an IT Support apprenticeship with Orbits IT.

I’m transitioning into IT from a legal transcription and science background, where accuracy, and working under pressure were essential. The role required me to listen carefully, manage tight deadlines, and work independently, all skills that have translated well into IT learning and technical problem-solving.

I really enjoy learning new systems and understanding how something works the way it does. This and my brother working in cyber security is what led me to pursue IT more seriously and start building my knowledge around operating systems and troubleshooting.

Outside of work I spend my time reading, playing video games and spending time with my little Shiba Inu, Yoshi.

I’m excited to start my career in Orbits IT and further develop my IT skills whilst helping customers :)
