Hello, my name is Connel and I’m currently pursuing an IT Support Apprenticeship here at Orbits IT. Since I first used a computer in primary school, I have always had a strong interest in IT. Since then, I have always found myself at a computer whether it be in college, a previous position or during my free time gaming.

In my previous position I was a full-time carer for over 6 years. During this time, I became a much more patient and empathetic person, something that will surely help me deliver the best support to our customers. I’m looking forward to getting hands-on experience with many different topics I’ve only learned so far in theory and reinforcing that knowledge. I believe this apprenticeship will be the perfect beginning to a long and fruitful career in IT.
