Hello, my name is Dylan Hughes, and I am doing an IT support apprenticeship with Orbit IT.

Before I joined Orbits IT I was studying a level 3 ICT course with an added cybersecurity module. I enjoyed learning all the lessons that I was taught in the years it took to complete. Alongside that, I worked at a care home to help cook and clean which helped me more with how to talk to customers. I then went on to find an opportunity to develop my communication and understanding of customer needs, which was in a cafe making tea and coffee and on the odd occasion of bartending. While there I learned how to communicate with peers, how to deal with the customers and how to help with difficult situations.

Outside of work, I like to walk my dogs and take them out on adventures. I am also into online gaming with my friends and family. I also like going on long drives and my favourite place is the mountains.

I can’t wait to help the customers in any way I can.
