Our new additions…

My name is Ryan Furness, and I am a new IT support apprentice for Orbits IT. Coming from a background of customer service, through my time in shop work, I enjoy supporting customers whenever I am able to make their experience as simple as possible. Building my communication and professionalism skills while being a football coach and referee, I hope to make customers feel as welcome and understood, making the support process seamless.

Finding a role where I can learn more about something I am passionate about, while helping make other’s times easier is a very exciting prospect. I am hoping I can learn and improve from all the Orbits’ team have to offer, to become a friendly and informative IT support, clients can rely on.

Hi, I’m Caitlin and I have recently been accepted into Orbits as a Helpdesk Apprentice. I’m excited to start working with the rest of the team and getting to know everyone. I’ve spent the last 2 years in a retail position so this is a very new and different side to customer service that I hope I can thrive in, as well as I did when serving customers face-to-face. I was also studying IT/Business Admin in college alongside working.

I spend my free time either playing table top games with friends and trying to find the best way to defeat a fictional monster, or streaming movies with my mum as she asks me to find out who plays a certain character. I look forward to learning how Orbits works, gaining some new skills and knowledge as well as friendships along the way.
