COVID-19 – What have we learnt?
How things change…
I hope everyone is keeping well and things are starting to look up across the board.
With the big announcement on Sunday from the Prime Minister and the slow process of the lock down being relaxed starting, it’s time to look at what we have learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic and what we can do to prepare for similar situations in the future.
What have Orbits IT learnt?
We have learnt an awful lot about ourselves, our business and our clients – not least:
- We are lucky to work in a golden age of digital tech. When the decision was taken we were able to swiftly and effectively move to home working with minimal impact to our service levels.
- We work with some amazing clients – from those charities supporting the public through difficult times, the care homes looking after the elderly and to those organisations who changed their entire business to manufacture and provide PPE for key workers. We thank you all.
- Our staff can pull out all the stops to keep our client’s IT working for them through the most difficult of times.
Lets talk about the future.
We have also learnt that IT has changed forever and we need to work with our clients to ensure the right solutions are provided for now and for the future.
This is why we are inviting all our clients and contacts to join us on a FREE one to one video call to discuss what we can learn from the last few months. In particular:
- What IT struggles did you have during the COVID-19 crisis?
- What services or tools did you find worked well and not so well for you
- Look at the options available to improve your IT systems
- Discuss the future and how we can assist going forward
If you would like to book a slot for a private one to one video meeting to discuss this or anything else IT related please use the online booking system here.
