Researchers have discovered a flaw in windows and Microsoft Office products in May this year.  Microsoft have now patched a critical bug in the software which has existed for 19 years.

IBM have worked alongside Microsoft in order to fix the problem. its reported that the bug had been present in every version of Windows since Windows 95.

Its said that attackers could have exploited the bug to remotely control PC’S and laptops.

Users are now being encouraged to download the updates and patch the bug to prevent being effected which Microsoft have already addressed the issue in the monthly security update.

Microsoft have released 14 patches and is expected to release another two soon. So it will definitely be worth keeping an eye out for the updates.
