An Orbits IT Case Study
The Problem
Prior to engaging with Orbits, we relied on another IT provider for support. While they were initially responsive, as issues became more frequent and urgent, the level of support required was no longer consistently available.
Challenges arose when we transitioned to the Progress system, which occasionally caused interruptions that impacted daily operations. Our team used the terminal service in different ways depending on roles, and it became clear that our previous provider was struggling to support us. As processes grew more complex, we needed a level of support that better matched our requirements.
It was challenging to find IT providers willing to quote for a small organisation, which was discouraging. We began reaching out to other credit unions for recommendations, and Orbits IT consistently came highly recommended.
We eventually met the Orbits IT team at the Credit Union of Wales Awards in Cardiff, which led to open and constructive conversations. From the outset, it felt very promising.
