Orbits IT expands with second office and two new recruits

Barry-based provider of IT services and support, Orbits IT, today announces the creation of a second office in Birmingham and the addition of two Help Desk Analysts to its growing team.

Established in 2010, Orbits IT works with more than 180 SMEs, charities and public sector organisations. The company has enjoyed steady year-on-year growth – largely from word-of-mouth – and retained 98% of its clients since inception. Orbits’ new Halesowen office will broaden its on-site support service area coverage, which is of a one-hour radius of each office.

Orbits IT Managing Director, Jim Lewington, says: “A second office just outside Birmingham was a natural choice for us. We already do a fair amount of work in the Midlands and the business demographics are similar to those of South Wales.”

Orbits’ two new Help Desk Analysts, Keiron Phillips and Hollie Xerri, join the existing Help Desk team to provide first and second line phone support. Orbits’ Help Desk fixes 95% of all issues over the phone and within two hours.

Jim continues: “I’m delighted we have been able to expand our team from six to eight employees. As the company grows I am committed to maintaining and improving the customer-focused service for which Orbits IT is best known. Our appointment of Keiron and Hollie is integral to this.”
