For several years (since 2006) the website www.software4students.co.uk has been using a Microsoft Sales program to offer cheap (sometimes upto 90% off retail price) genuine Microsoft software. Things like Office 2010 Pro which would cost you nearly £300 retail can be had for £37.98 at the time of writing. These were available to students, parents and teachers but very few checks were placed to check this. However on their website they warn that the good times may be coming to an end:
