The first day of work experience here has gone really well! I have learnt lots of new things that I think will really help me in the future.

Today I learnt how to securely wipe hard drives, and I even put my new knowledge to the test by wiping 4 of them – even though they might have been previously wiped, it’s worth the practise. I also learnt about various hardware in laptops and computers, and how to to remove them.

I have enjoyed everything today – even the tidying (although it was a drag and my feet hurt)! I’m looking forward to the week ahead, and I’m sure I’ll learn much more by the time the week is over.
