The mighty Google have a system in place called Google Grants which effectively allows charities to use their Ad Words advertising service for free. This is to encourage charities to promote their causes, campaigns and events for absolutely no outlay. There are a few requirements as always, and you do need to keep your account active, but with a small amount of effort you can get ‘Money for Nothing!’
